We would love for you to join in with this challenge (make sure you use a Tickled Pink Stamps image please) and be in the running to win a great prize!
Well, to tell the truth I really havent made many cards that are not square or rectangle so I had a bit of a challenge here. I thought I'd try a circle shape. I used the largest scalloped circle nestie I had to make the folded card then I cut out another scallop circle the same size in patterned paper and attached it on the front. this is probably the smallest card (approx 10.5cm diameter) I have every made and the entire time I was designing it I really wasnt sure how it would turn out. But once it was all stuck together I fell in love with it. It was also a bit of a challenge colouring an image that was so small!

It's A Beautiful Life!

Today I've got some more scrapbooking to show you. This time I'm following a sketch from The Paper Bakery. I've made 2 pages that make a double layout, with both pages using the same sketch (the first is rotated). I've had fun using this gorgeous October Afternoon Farmhouse collection. This was my first attempt at making these flowers/rosettes. I scored them all by hand and it was a bit tricky to shape them - maybe I'll buy a die do do this?? I'd love to hear how you make them!

Cardstock: So Saffron and sahara sand textured, Basic Grey (Stampin' Up!)
Papers:  FarmHouse collection (October Afternoon)
Other :  ribbon, bakers twine, petite pennants builder punch (Stampin' Up!), buttons, miscellany, journal tags (October Afternoon), Leaf & Swirl Doohickey's dies (Magnolia), year-o-graphy alphas (Simple Stories), crackle paint, embriodery thread, needle, alphas (stash)

I've been sitting at my computer tonight scheduling posts for the next fortnight (can you believe I'm that organised!) and i realised I had nothing to post now. That is no fun, so I thought I'd share a gorgeous scrapbook layout I just completed today. I just love the yo-yo flowers that I have seen on cards lately (expecially on the creations of the amazing Kellie Winnell) so I had to have a go for myself. I also love this gorgeous "Spice Cake" designer paper by Stampin' Up! and it even has coordinating fabric - just perfect for my yo-yo's!!
This is a photo of my daughter taken a few years ago - isnt she gorgeous. They grow up too quick though!!
