Fashion Diva!

As well as all the lovely bright colours found in the gorgeous October '13 Half Tart kit from Lime Tart there were some more subtle pieces of cardstock. The one used as the background for this page is one of my absolute favourites at the moment - it coordinates with the colours of  many of my eldest daughters clothes too!
From the kit I've used the patterned paper, a glassine bag, twine, and thickers.
I've also used a wooden flower flourish from the September 13' Gourmet Tart that I have sprayed with white mist. Wooden embellishments are perfect for spraying to suit the colour scheme of your layout!
I had some white doilies that I altered to suit the colour scheme of my page by spraying with Colorshine.
In addition to the Oct'13 Half Tart kit and September 13' Gourmet Tart  from the Lime Tart store I've used D-lish Scraps bitty blooms & cosmos daisies; Kellie Stamps "you make me smile" from the Just for you stamp set, "perfect photo", "cheese", "smile", "Insta moment" and "picture perfect" from the Picture Perfect set; Studio Calico wood veneer bird; Freckled Fawn wood veneer arrows; Pebbles roller date stamp; Simple Stories Sn@p word stickers; and a tag, cupcake paperclip, crochet doilies & flair from my stash.

Christmas Traditions!

We have a number of Christmas traditions in our family. One of them is that we put "Santa sacks" under the Christmas tree on Christmas eve. There is one for each member of our family (mum and dad too!!) and one of my daughters will make name tags so there will be no confusion lol! Then first thing on Christmas morning we all go down together to look in them. This photo was taken Christmas morning 2012 and there was a very happy and excited girl looking in her sack!

The new "Christmas Tradition" stamp set from Kellie Stamps  was perfect for this page (and will be perfect for all my Christmas SMASH*ing to come). I've used Christmas Time is beaut, Oh Christmas tree, Joy, Favourite, moment, Christmas, and Tradition. I really love that you can mix and match the words "Favourite" or Christmas" with other words such as "moment", "tradition", "traditions", "party", "memories", "concert", or "holiday"!
I have used more patterned paper on this page than I typically do. I have so much in my stash and I've decided to try and use it! I have also added some little crochet doilies that I've sprayed to match the colours of the page. I find that I'm really liking buying mainly white embellishments and spraying them to suit!
I also love using tags on my pages, but usually they are hidden behind photos. This time I've decorated it to feature on the page.
I've also include D-lish Scraps bitty blooms & resin mini daisies; Simple Stories Sn@p stickers; Stampin' Up! brown cardstock and patterned papers; SMASH* labelmaker; Studio Calico wood veneer trees; Basic Grey alphas; and twine, crochet doilie, stocking button, tag, flair, & sequins from my stash.

Dessert Anyone?

My Scrap page today includes a photo of me. I'm always scrapping photos of my girls but rarely of myself - I must do more of it! The photo shows me enjoying a wonderful chocolate waffle dessert at one of our favourite dessert cafe's called "Cocolat" yummm!!

I started with a white background that I sprayed in places with pink and yellow Colorshine. I then added some splatters of yellow and pink Colorshine. Once this had dried I added a paper doilie, chevron bag and layers of paper underneath my photo. I then added a strip of washi along the top of my page. Lastly I clustered lots of yummy D-Lish Scraps embellishments around the photo and added a title.
I've used a heap of the gorgeous D-lish Scraps embellishments on this page, specifically crochet flowers, Freckled Fawn dew drops , Freckled Fawn wood chips hearts, freckled fawn paperclips - silver, shipping tags bitty blooms, pink canvas pick 'n' place bow, white daisy, pink heart button, white cabachon resin flower, and white heart paper doilie.
Other products I've used include Stampin' Up! white cardstock & label punch; Dear Lizzie Lucky Charm papers & flair; Simple Stories Sn@p alphas and stickers; Heidi Swapp colorshine yellow and pink; and a chevron bag from my stash.

Lastly I clustered embellishments around the photo and in the top corner, twisted some twine across the page and sprinked sequins randomly across the page and stuck them down.

School Sports Day!

The school sports day was very special for us this year. Rachael is in her last year (Year 7) at Primary school and Jessica is in her first year (Reception). Both girls really loved the day and tried their hardest. Jessica is a great sprinter and loved the sack race. Rachael loves high jump and shotput. Rachael is also the vice-house captain and loved her leadership role in the day. We were so proud of them both. The competitor ribbon was Jessica's from the day.

I've used heaps of the new "School is out" stamp set from Kellie Stamps ("Sports day", "year:", "7", "prep", and the girl image). Remember to use the code KELLIESTAMPS for 15% off your order when you spend over $10.

I've used my 365 SMASH* folio and Dear Lizzy stickers, papers, flair & alphas; Amy Tangerine dog paperclip; Studio Calico wood veneers;  Stampin' Up! Dahlia adornments; and a bag, tag, buttons & twine from my stash.

My page for today is all about the awesome circle mask and the gorgeous products available in the October '13 Half Tart kit, all from Lime Tart. I just love this mask and I wanted it to feature on this page.
On this page I've used the Studio Calico circle graph mask (available from Lime tart) with modelling paste, then I've splattered white paint across the page. From the kit I've used the patterned paper cut into strips, twine, bicycle paperclip, some label stickers, Thickers and Ice accents.
In addition to the Oct'13 Half Tart kit and mask from the Lime Tart store I've used Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake cardstock; Studio Calico wood veneer cats & white mist; Freckled Fawn wood veneer polaroids; Pebbles roller date stamp; and sequins & flair from my stash.

Life in Details November Challenge!

The November challenge at the Life in Details Challenge blog is to use some fun printables. Head on over to the blog (here) where you can find out how to download them :) There is also heaps of amazing inspiration and some fun prizes to be won!!

My youngest daughter just adores her Teddy (she calls him Garry lol). Every morning she has a difficult time saying goodbye to him when she has to go to school. She loves to dress up and so does teddy of course. The printables worked perfectly with these photos and I used nearly all of them on my pages.
I've also used some of the fun stamps from Kellie Stamps: "You and me", "You me us", "lazy night", and the house image from the My Home stamp set.
The pages are in my Red SMASH* folio and I've also used some October Afternoon alphas; Prima wood veneer house; Freckled Fawn wood veneer heart & arrows; Pebbles roller date stamp; Basic Grey alphas; Amy Tangerine Yes Please papers; and a paper doilie from my stash.

Smile!

My current scrapbooking pages have been all about using Kraft cardstock for the background and using masks and modelling paste. I love the natural look of the kraft and I love the texture you get when using modelling paste with a mask.

Lime Tart have a range of masks available here and I wanted to try them all!! This month I've used the gorgeous October '13 Half Tart kit from Lime Tart - the colours are bright and fun.

The photo on this page is of my eldest daughter and I on a family day out - she loves to take selfies on my camera so I jumped in on this one.
On this page I've used the Ronda Palazzari Well Rounded mask available from Lime tart. From the kit I've used strips of patterned paper, a glassine bag, lots of twine, some label stickers, thickers and the bicycle paperclip.
I've also used some Tattered Angels Brown Glimmermist and splattered some Heidi Swapp black colorshine. I did have problems with the Colorshine not drying properly (the splats were quite thick in some places and they remained tacky).
In addition to the Oct'13 Half Tart kit and other products from the Lime Tart store I've used Studio Calico wood veneer camera & flower; Prima wood veneer house; D-lish Scraps crocheted flower & forget-me-nots; Kellie Stamps "INSTAmoment" from the Just for you stamp set and the arrows from the Hello arrows stamp set; Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake cardstock & ink; Pebbles roller date stamp; Simple Stories Sn@p word stickers; and flair from my stash.
